Preface
This book found me during one of the most challenging periods of my life. As I sat alone in a hospital on the other side of the world, enduring painful treatments and wrestling with anxiety, depression, and isolation, Who’s Really Pulling My Strings? became my lifeline. It brought clarity to years of research and a deeper understanding of myself and the world.
Who’s Really Pulling My Strings? poses a question we all ask ourselves at some point in life. From the moment we first become curious—fascinated by our own fingers as babies and then by the world around us—we are driven by an innate thirst for understanding. This curiosity follows us until one day we are struck by an existential epiphany: Who’s really pulling my strings? That single, profound question can change everything, launching us on the journey of life. It becomes the driving force behind our search for meaning, one that consumes the mind, body, and soul.
I’m Daniel Yakubov, a private researcher dedicated to exploring humanity, life, and existence. My path has led me through religions, cults, ancient teachings, meditations, alternative medicine, behavioral health, and much more. Guided by an internal intuition, I’ve followed a journey that eventually aligned me with Arshad Amith, first through business, then on a deeper spiritual, mental, and emotional level.
It’s remarkable to consider: Arshad grew up in a devout Muslim community, and I was raised in an Orthodox Jewish one—backgrounds that could not seem more different. And yet, instead of dividing us, our shared curiosity and pursuit of deeper truths brought us closer. We realized that beneath the layers of separation imposed by history, culture, and religion, we are all connected by something singular and universal—the soul. Once tapped into this singularity, free of hatred, jealousy, and division, there are no barriers. Instead, we are left with unity, and the same profound questions about existence and meaning.
Arshad has an extraordinary gift for capturing the ineffable in words. His insights have the power to revolutionize lives. This book is not just a read; it’s an experience. For those willing to set aside preconceptions and embrace its truths, it offers a journey of profound realization, inner peace, and cosmic joy.
Arshad’s words reach into the core of our being, filling us with a sense of wholeness that resonates on a cellular level. This is more than a book—it’s a guide to rediscovering the singularity within us all.
